It’s little bit of a shame MC didn’t kill the assassin, but yeah, I’m satisfied seeing the cathedral get destroyed by MC using the titan stone
Can't you just do that wind spirit move from the start rather than risk a close fight?Page 29
It seems like such a really clear and cut story that I want to doubt it. It's not like there's no good vs evil in the world, but when both sides are politicians with fairly high stakes (for the pope position) I feel skeptical.Page 31
Great tourist attraction and knowing churches also a great way to spin the event and use it to squeeze more donations out of the believers.that stone titan will probebly become a landmark
I’m not 100% sure on that to be honest. As he mentioned, have Irene would have dampened his ability to use spirits. I guess the logic is that she would use some of the spirits so he has less to use. The trio did end up being fairly high positions and before that, they were one of the highest ranked adventurers, so all things considering, they might have been pretty close to peak humans.Scenes like turning an entire cathedral into sand and making it a sculptor reminds you that he is an immortal demi-god. while he says he would lose to the trio, he just has to ask the spirits for OP hax and stomp them. Also that suit of armor looks so nice. Definitly gonna become an heirloom.
I think the thing about this scenario is that we don’t really know how his opposition side was. The MC knows the side that was getting in his way, but we have no idea on the other side, they might be just as bad as a person, they just happened to not anger the MC. Its not really a case that we have one side thats right and one side thats wrong, we just know that one side is wrong and directly affect the MC.Thanks for the chapter.

It looks way cooler if he manages to defeat him hand-on-hand. He learned how to wield a sword purely for the aura. Can't you just do that wind spirit move from the start rather than risk a close fight?
I don’t believe it was ever discussed before this current rash of chapeters. In short it’s just military conscriptionI can't recall what his son is up to, but i recall it was combat oriented. It would be really depressing if that unbreakable armor and 2 years of training ends up being what gets his son killed.
He wants to rely on his own work and strength whenever possible, It's why he wants to learn sculpting he could just ask the spirits to make the stone into the image that he thinks up but the process is something he values iirc. He could have always done that, but he wants to do things himself. Can't you just do that Wind Spirit move from the start rather than risk a close fight?
It’s also possible that the Spirits would just desert the fight if two elves try to kill each other. I don’t believe we’ve ever seen conflict between Spirit Magic Users, but the Spirits do have a character to them, even if one inhuman. I believe it’s entirely possible that the Spirits would see that One Elf asks for one thing, & then immediately the Other Elf asks for the opposite, & resolve that trying to fulfill their wishes at all is too tedious, & just leave them be until it’s over.I’m not 100% sure on that to be honest. No, unless they're gonna explore this plot again later in the future, "how his opposition side was" doesn't really matter. This part of the story starts and ends with one side being bad.I think the thing about this scenario is that we don’t really know how his opposition side was. I guess that's pretty true. I thought he doesn't care about fighting that much, and the only consideration on using spirits in previous chapters is possible civilian casualties (and even then, it's only done carefully instead of none at all).He wants to rely on his own work and strength whenever possible, It's why he wants to learn sculpting he could just ask the spirits to make the stone into the image that he thinks up but the process is something he values iirc. I don't think there's much chance of that, they're involved in entirely separate wars.I can't recall what his son is up to, but i recall it was combat oriented. It would be really depressing if that unbreakable armor and 2 years of training ends up being what gets his son killed.
