Yeah this is so ass, bunch of extra clicks that do not need to be there. The comment function is stupid to begin with.

I think the comment function could be good, but a separate button that takes you directly to the forum feels like it's kind of necessary.

I blocked the "premium" comments section with uBlock so I don't have to scroll down through the "premium" comments.
But this only works on my desktop... so it's ass having to scroll through them on mobile, and I have to do an extra click in both cases.

I also heard (and just confirmed right now) that non-supporters can't even START a forum thread anymore for chapters.

But the forums have been free for a while, and I have NOT seen ANY bots in the forums since I've joined. There's the occasional edgy troll, but that's normal in any community (and free speech and all of that), and the forum comments being rate limited helps with their spam.

Oh, yeah, I should probably have been more clear in my first post. I meant that it could be good when it's open to everyone, but I can see how just writing "could be good" doesn't really make it obvious how I think it could be good.
