Yeah, this was a solid read and the ending made perfect sense with the characters themselves.
I was worried for a moment someone was going to throw themselves from a building or bridge, as that would have been too far and wouldn't make sense with their characters (even Junya, as depressed and off-kilter as he was), so I'm glad that wasn't the direction the author went.
Not every ending is a "happy" one, and this one really felt about as good and realistic as it could be for everything that had transpired. Reality is just that brutal, sometimes, and I'd argue that she very much grew as a person from start to finish, to realize that she needed to pull out and push him away like that to save them both.
