holy shit, the "friend" is a genuine psycho, like wtf was Uchi's fault in all of this, like playing a long game like that is not even being a genuine POS, but just a monster, like she could have gotten a gf or make him just forget about her or try to make him misunderstand and hate her between the years were they didn't see each other, not friggin' destroy a person and family's live as a friggin' sidequest

This is the ultimate despair for Yotsuha even more than losing Uichi and that is made into thinking that it was her fault Uichi went through so much pain and suffering. it's a good thing Uichi is in a better headspace now to be able to support her properly

It's painfully realistic*, but I hate the twist of her "jumping to confusions" that she's the real cause of his unhappiness. And that she's continuing to rely on psycho-nii-chan instead of questioning how the mastermind knows so much about her situation, or why he wound up with the watch (which may have now been sabotaged in some fashion, but she hasn't used it to know).

* - and beats the heck out of stories where the MCs immediately jump to wildly-improbable deductions which are of course right because they're sertifide jeeniuses

honestly that’s what i’m leaning towards now but maybe not the perv thing. that or someone fucking hates her dad and just anyone related to him, but then her brother would be a target so idfk man

Crackhead theory, what if her dad is Fuu's dad, and Fuu is masterminding because her dad was killed by Yotsuha's mom because he wanted to protect her, with Fuu blaming Yotsuha? Like her dad was the most important person to her, so she's trying to take away the most important person to Yotsuha.
