Having a chapter in which a girl is comically being chased by tons of hot guys immediately being followed by a chapter which shows her getting sexually assaulted played completely straight is definitely a choice that was made with this manga

Watching one of your friends getting raped and still let the perpetrator leave without doing anyyhing ? What a piece of shit is that guy. No wonder he is single.
They didn't even get inside the house yet. For starters the guy ran away once Bara stepped out, then there's the fact that for all you know next chapter might start with a call to the cops, or maybe a discussion about it with "but wait, is this drug even legal? we shouldn't involve the cops". Besides, Goh says that all he wants is to go to bed. Maybe Bara understood/interpreted that Goh meant he wanted to forget about it for now and think about it tomorrow, which would make sense to me since he's definitely already mentally exhausted from all the pick-up-artists and being groped on the train.
With ongoing manga, especially from an author like Oku, it's best to reserve judgements for after something actually has or hasn't happened. There's a measly two panels after the incident with barely any dialogue, so who knows how it'll go from here.

last chapter definitely did not feel comical to me lol
I can see it being a bit comical in the sense of how sad the guys trying to hit on Goh came across, but other than that, yeah. It's getting real uncomfortable real fast, but I'm definitely a fan. These are real problems that women everywhere face, so (like I mentioned in the credits page) it's interesting to see an author like Oku tackle them with such a bleak atmosphere and weight to them.

I mean, the acceptable reaction to finding your friend being assaulted is going after the perpetrator and beat him up, not just leave him scape like that.

The entire crux of the manga since chapter 1 has been that this is a house full of awkward, antisocial nerds only a couple steps removed from being full on hermits/hikikomori. You can't honestly be surprised he didn't immediately jump to beating the guy up, you're expecting something totally out of character as well as getting ahead of yourself like I mentioned before.
