Lmao yeah, imagine that...Wow can you imagine going through all of high school alone without a gf?

Really, really good point. What my girl was doing was harassment, and how she got with it... it counts as the sexual kind so I can see why the grandma is worried, if shge actually saw any of the things that happened in the previous chapter. While it is good that my man did give a positive spin to it, she got seriously intense. Some of you all need to remember that this story did not start out with pure intentions that EVERYONE is aware of. The grandma has literal footage of the things Tsubaki did. To be fair Grandma is the only one who's fully out of pocket with expulsion criteria but everyone else being a little apprehensive about the relationship makes sense from what they know. An other than the Grandma everyone gets past it while still calling out the BS that got there here in the first place.
I mean, the stuff from the cameras wasn't just "bits and pieces" that's putting it really mildly. The footage showed her literally assaulting him on multiple occasions, and this was not something minor; the school administration even had expulsion on the table as a result. She knew all of this.Does that matter? His mother doesn't know about any of that. I'm talking exclusively about how his mother behaved.
We're not even sure what the grandma's thinking is at this point. Tadashi issued his "I will tutor your granddaughter to the top of the exam leaderboard" pledge before she really had a chance to make up her mind. No way she wouldn't take full advantage of that energy. Some of you all need to remember that this story did not start out with pure intentions that EVERYONE is aware of. My problem with this is that even without the expulsion criteria, the Grandma would still have to call Tadashi's mom in. I also thought that maybe this is all so weird scheme from the Grandma but it doesn't make sense to put this unneeded stress on them or test their relationship in the first place. Do what happened in this chapter and just have a honest discussion with all the parents. This whole expulsion bit is for grandma to test their relationship so see can see the growth her camera's missed out on. And while from a narrative standpoint that makes sense from a character standpoint its a bit selfish. But that's how you get extended conflict.Reminder that

Also, the more I think about it, the more sense it makes, especially now that we know Tadashi's mother was actually invited to the school personally and given the full picture. Legally speaking, it would be simply unthinkable for the principal of a school to make a decision in favor of Tsubaki without even consulting Tadashi's legal guardian. Tadashi may be the injured party, but he is also a minor. This is a matter serious enough that the adults have to settle it.
If I'm right about this, the actual battle doesn't take place in the exams. It already did, in this chapter. Tadashi's mother had to be won over. If she tells the principal she doesn't mind Tsubaki not being expelled, or even speaks out against it, the principal now has the necessary cover to grant clemency to her granddaughter free from suspicions of nepotism.
