Ok, I think I found more or less what was "D-Day" for the forum's nono era.

The fall of Devourer and Halo seemed to mark a sudden shift in behavior in the forums.

That was when the old dudebros went: "Oh fuck we can get banned for this? ok gotta tone it down a bit."

This of course, only mostly applies here to the main forums.

The manga threads are still rife with "gamer kids" who think they are SO cool and hip with their 4chan lingo.

Unless you are people like monkey123 and Trobilobada, who seem to have gotten locked in time before 2020.

Tone down? I dont think we are toning down when the time comes.

Devourer's crashout was entirely self inflicted - I don't know that it really changed much of anything.

Halo just never came back after Hombreeee, so I'm not sure that changed much of anything either (though V5 did tighten some things up - no more politics/NSFW threads).

lel, you know the difference is staggering because of covid. Lots of people are going online now, basically yeah. A bit calmer, but there are still lot of degenerates and the general people sees it as a pleague.

And you know the embedded comments? No one uses it, lmfao. They said people want it, who?

Yeah, I suspect there were a couple places early in V5 that you could have gotten into that really weren't intended to be open to the public....

Offended by words making things worse and funny, especially after you lost an argument. Jannies works overtime when it comes to this, especially when you go around popular mangoes. Just look at recent jojo chapter.

Not really, you can still see Sterben and Pando being controversial. It's just a lot of oldies just DIED, and the newcomers are more pure.

Only Jojo part 1 is real to me. I finished it, saw that the later arcs where of other protags, and discarded them as spinoffs.

Never saw anything beyond part 1. Maybe someday I will, who knows.

Steel ball Run was pretty good, but then JoJoLion was such complete and utter dogshit that it completely damaged my interest in the series.

Well, you miss an art. Doesnt matter what you think about Jojo, but Araki being able to make Jojo popular until it got into a museum is fucking amazing.

The art is awesome they said, it is. The more you see the Jojo progression you will understand how much Araki loves art.

Steel ball Run was pretty good, but then JoJoLion was such complete and utter dogshit that it completely damaged my interest in the series.

I think Jojolion is still much better than Stone Ocean, but people have preference. Give it a benefit of doubt and read the newest work, believe me, it s good.
