If they are a fan of Mili, I would tell them that Mili works with Project Moon. If they're a fan of dystopia, I would tell them the setting is dystopian. I really don't know how to convince someone without having any prior information on their tastes.

You have unknowingly asked a LotM fan one of the hardest questions to answer.
I will choose my words carefully to make this point and for public etiquette please keep such speculations to youself and if you're really curious then you may ask me privately.
Being an "Isekai" does not matter for the story.
Also LotM is nothing like the hundreds of Isekai slop manga I have experienced. The Isekai element is not even there after a while because it is just a device to begin the plot.
You wouldn't make the same 'criticism' for the Tolkein Legendarium, Narnia, a really good isekai (with multiple 'sekai's) or Alice in Wonderland because that world not exactly being the real world or our world in some way would undermine the value of any of it's content (other than the reset thing which happens in Narnia) and the story it is trying to tell.
In LotM the other world is very much real and gets even more real after every major event as our main character becomes a core part of it.

You can even think of it like an alternate history with supernatural elements.

It's the Tolkien Legendarium. Middle Earth is a continent in it. And it's not an isekai. The oz universe is more of an isekai than JRRT's work.

In fact, I have been taking a break from it since this year untill the season 1 special drops in a few months

which introduces a lot of important things that were skipped in the first season.

What's my gimmick? Huh, strange question to ask but if I had to point it out then it would have to being a little bit too obsessed with some things. For example: Lord of Mysteries among other things.

"A little bit too obsessed" combined with your superpower that can turn any subject into a segue for LotM is evidence enough for me that you do in fact like LotM that much. 😆

If anyone has a significant other who loves them more than you love LotM, they'd have a full-blown yandere on their hands. 😅
