Well I think what makes it frustrating is perhaps the ending. Not the man dying but what happened to his body. If it’s on the news, that probably means it wasn’t given burial rights. She took him far from prying eyes, drained him to death (presumably denying him an afterlife), then just abandoned it in the bed.

Not even a final bit of gratitude, just another meal, which doesn’t match these one shot stories themes about life and love equalling progress.
