What game or game series gives you the warm fuzzies inside?

Feelings that come from nostalgia are just one example. You can also include games that relax you after a long day. Or will always cheer you up when you're sad.

Mine are the Tales of series and the Star Ocean series.

Dooms, Metal Gears Solid 1-3, nearly a dozen Square games from the NES/SNES era, Binding of Isaac, probably a bunch more.

Gonna give Shadow of the Colossus a replay sometime and see if that works, too. Nostalgia rules.

Star Ocean is an absolute gem for cozy nostalgic vibes. For me, Persona and Final Fantasy are the ones that give me those warm fuzzies. Which Star Ocean game is your ultimate comfort food?

That's a tough question. Till the end of time was my first Star Ocean game, but I think the one that gives me the biggest Dopamine hit is Second Evolution.

Unfortunately, I hate 5 and 6. I've given up on there being another good Star Ocean game.

• Battle Network/Star Force (ShanghaiEXE included and I've yet to finish that)
• Zelda Oracle of Seasons/Ages
• Pokemon Battle Tower/Chateau (Gen 2/6), Frontier (Gen 3/4) and PWT
• Mario Kart (Double Dashing variety)
• Sonic Riders (Zero Gravity requires me to relearn even though the music is vastly better)
• YuGiOh (Up to Synchro gameplay because I know those rules, when you get to star while I understand it I want to keep it simple)

Just off the top of my head, I bet there's more if I check more IPs I enjoy based on past gameplay
