Uhh idk, the only older Japanese guy I'm acquainted with is kind of a celebrity in one of my hobbies, and he was too polite to tell a rude fan no to his rather inappropriate signature request, and one of the other peeps in our group had to refuse for him. It's probably worth stating that this exchange was in English and didn't occur in Japan, so he was probably less confident/comfortable? Idk.

The others are all college aged and can't be taken as examples.

damn. i know a few Rick Astleys from my hometown. they're extremely rude and obnoxious. one of them pretended to get hit by my car once for the insurance money (i was going like 8mph)

Oh random, but what's your favorite grasshopper species? Mine is currently Ectadia fulva, a species found only in a small part of Yunnan and northern regions of Thailand and Vietnam. I do like Acrida cinerea and Atractomorpha lata also.

Back then, they just assumed I was a dumb kid in a hurry to pee, and that I peed ln the first hole looking thing I found.

According to my dad, I may have indirectly killed one of my neighbors once.

I would climb up to his house's wooden roof and jump up and down on it.

I apparently pissed him off so much that he had a heart attack that same night.

I only found out about this years later, cause my parents didn't want me to have that on my mind growing up.
