I think we're officially entering the run-up to the Endgame, now. We have the background on the other major party of players in the PIs & Ken, and we have Gotou finally starting to realize that there's something real ominous going on about Moe.

Akemi & Fetus are still in play at the moment off-screen, and I do have to wonder if one of her many sex partners are going to make another plot-relevant appearance (since at least one's a doctor at that hospital they keep ending up in).

So that's all the pieces in motion. Moe's grip on Gotou is tenuous at best, and her opponent in Ken has found new-found resolve to fight her for a return to his "normal family". I have to wonder if Akemi is truly wanting to 'start over' as well, since she made a point to get pregnant once more with Gotou, but I really can't tell if she's actually seeking to finally be done with all her behavior, or if this is just another "lucid moment" type deal in all her craziness. Gotou's now the one spiraling, though, and unfortunately he's doing it right in front of, and pushing away from, the very person who's the most dangerous of them all.
And they're all on a collision course to smash into one another in likely violent and brutal ways.

Should be a treat to see.

Damn, didnt know we are close to the finale until someone said it. Feels like shes gonna get away with this . Dad probably be the usual wreck, I dont think hes gonna plow her after all. Big bro probably will join up the detective crew, probably best to just knowing his family is that and just keep tab on them once in a while.

makes sense - unless I'm really misreading it, he's the brother of the woman who hung herself after being helped by Ishimura. If he was "taken under her wing", then he'd adopt at least some of her ideals, and also just simply want to help her as best he can, after she would have been instrumental in getting him back on his feet and giving him a new lease on life.

He's just also much more stoic and reserved than she is. Given what he would have ostensibly gone through being a drug mule and then incarcerated in an East Asian prison for drug running, he can't have had a good time of it, so being reserved/closed off wouldn't be unbelievable.

Guess we are reaching the final line! Moe must have something else planned I guess, but she justs wants to be with her dad, but seems he's the last obtacle for Moe since she does need to hook him to her in some way! Unless he goes full into her with no other problem to be "happy" with her
