Well this is incredibly generic.

Which is a super weird thing to be able to say about a series like this, but there is absolutely nothing here I haven't already seen before.

Despite having genderswap to it this seems like a yaoi series from what I'm seeing. Being a woman is a curse and heart skipping turns him back. This is an inverse on the usual trope where heart skipping turns them into a woman instead.

So chances are I probably won't be into the final result but we'll see what happens.

hmmm 🧐. I want to find out what's the difference that makes it unenjoyable to you. Personally, the enjoyablity of romance stories never depends on the gender pairings.

I assume you're hetero. maybe it's that mono-oriented (as opposed to bi-oriented and a-oriented) people prefer gender pairings in romance that align with their orientations.

but then why would that be the case. I, an aroace, can't understand how a romance's gender pairing aligned with my orientation would make me feel.

That thought brought me back to how even bi-oriented people can make comparisons to gender pairings that align with their gender and ones that don't. therefore, this lack of understanding is unique to a-oriented people like me.

I am not sure I like this swapping over the opposite, it's not like I have a paragraph to write on it just feel it might be more interesting but I will let the author cook

Also funny how the black hair guy is a romantic encyclopedia of romance by reading and the friend immediate reaction is not that he is masking stuff well but that he is 100% definitively interested

And gain fair enough but idk would be funnier if he really was not interested and just go along what other people expect of him and only show his true side to his friend

lol I consume yuri by the barrel full

It's just more traditional genderswap involves self reflection of one's gender (which I like a lot). Since this appears to be yaoi end to me I just don't think that'll really be happening.

ohhh. so it wasn't that you like hetero romance over gay romance, it was that you like characters' genders being bent into shape or closer to it, instead of being bent out of shape or farther from it.
