Normally sensory-manipulation abilities are evil as fuck, but I like how the voice-controller used it to save them.
My guess is that Mr. Creepy Crawly came back for revenge - he seemed to be able to fuck with senses too before the Angels "sealed" him, so he might have had a counter for that.
