dunno how far we are into the novels tbh. the original had 9 or 10 volumes iirc. so if it's not much more, they may see it through to the end i guess.

The Miharu arc is from volume 6 out of 9, so at this pace we'd need another 40 chapters to adapt the entire story.

That would be nice. I prefer just being able to use one medium to experience an entire story, rather than having to switch from one to another.
