Three possible options immediately comes to mind.
  • They already are in wicked phase, they're just good at hiding it.
  • Sense of smell got "stolen", using the same procedure during Ameri's birth... which makes the earlier statement "smells like criminal" ironic.
  • Iruma's blood's smell may not be as potent as it used to for some reason... probably had something to do with the last time he turned into a "Hero".

Rereading the chapter, the last page kind of looks like a crazy s*** post
If only.

We all knew this was coming, but Nishi still managed to get most of us in the gut.

The highs are always higher than I expect, and the bad times even worse.

...yep, this is written by a Yid, indeed 🥁

ICE was founded well over a decade ago.
I didn't mention ICE.
As far as I did originally write about ICE being a thought, I did very quickly correct that. Seeing as you are quoting the corrected post...what are you on about?

ICE may have been founded over a decade ago (2003 apparently), but it's been only since Trumps second presidency that they became 'a thing' in general populace.

As for 'you not mentioning ICE'...surely you're kidding, right? Basically every third of the posts here mentions them. It's also actually the only organization that is widely known in regards to this topic in the wide public view. Seeing as you are referencing explicitly politics, it's literally the only organization that fits. Even if deportations based on race exist outside of ICE, they're just a regular thing, like police arresting somebody, firefighters extinguishing fires or doctors prescribing medicine. At best some of them will be known in their local area.

No one but Americans are in that much of a bubble.
I didn't mention America.
Most Asian countries actually are focused on their own lives and their own culture. It's not a 'bubble'. The average person simply has no interest or benefit from finding out about things that have zero impact on their lives.

You keep bringing up America, like it's the only place with a deranged racist trying to deport people based in their ethnicity.
Again, it's literally the only place that is making headlines world-wide for this very thing. And it's also the only one that was specifically brought up by anyone in this thread.
Proof? YOU didn't provide even a single name of an organization that does it that is hitting headlines as a political play.

The fact that I said "This person is being deported because of racism. Sounds familiar" and you said "SHUT UP! I LOVE AMERICA!" or whatever tells me that you think events in the USA mirror that.
This shows your level of comprehension. I did not say even a single positive thing about America. In fact, I didn't actually talk about America to begin with.

The fact that I said that this plot point is not political has literally zero to do with America.

whatever tells me that you think events in the USA mirror that.
Oh? Are the voices in your head also telling you how ridiculous you sound? No? Then you shouldn't listen to them, cause they clearly are lying to you.

Telling you that this is not mirroring events in America is absolutely NOT a thinly veiled propaganda saying the exact opposite of what I actually wrote. If you seriously think it is, then you seriously need help.

Everything is political.
He DRAFTED A BILL.
HE IS MAKING A POLICE ACTION UNDER THE TERMS OF THAT BILL.
HE IS PART OF THE BORDER PATEOL, WHICH IS A POLITICAL ENTITY.
Law enforcement is literally not allowed to be political. It is a GOVERNMENT entity. But you clearly don't even know what 'political' means. You're just throwing it around left and right for whatever pointless agenda you have.
Not everything that is tied to government is political, unless you want to tell me that hospitals are political entities. That road makers are political entities. That power plants are political entities.

Being USED for politics does not make something POLITICAL. And it's true that everything can be used for politics. But that's literally why I made that post. This plot is NOT USED FOR POLITICS. And it is NOT inherently political. Border control is part of law-enforcement, specifically defensive forces. Trying to use it politically is an abhorent thing and shows an individuals disgusting tendencies.

HE IS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL.
In whose capacity he does not act. Quite the opposite. He is literally hiding the fact that he is an elected official, and with that, explicitly denying any ties to politics.

You clearly have some kind of axe to grind, and I don't know what it is.
It's bad here, but good IRL? Why would you have a problem with allegory?
You really need to do something about those voices in your head. I don't know why they've told you that I said that either here or in real world it is either good or bad, when I did not do such a thing even remotely. The only thing I said is that the events of this story are NOT tied to the events in real world.

Correct, but absolutely irrelevant.
Both correct and absolutely relevant. It seems it's too much for you to understand though.

Why did I have to read that right when the bud kicked in?
It just looks like word salad, right now.
I'm only mostly sure I'm typing correctly.

That is a lot sooner than I expected....

I thought the author would wait till he was at a higher level.... You know milk this slice of life series???

Instead the author seems to be rushing forward a little bit....
Yeah that definitely came outta nowhere I expected them to take a whole lot longer to actually figure out He's human

Oh, you corrected it? I hadn't noticed. I was working, remembered the post, and came back with thoughts.
ICE may have been founded over a decade ago (2003 apparently), but it's been only since Trumps second presidency that they became 'a thing' in general populace.
You're really not up on current events very often, are you?
As for 'you not mentioning ICE'...surely you're kidding, right? Basically every third of the posts here mentions them.
I didn't make those posts, or read them. I hardly read any comments at all.
It's also actually the only organization that is widely known in regards to this topic in the wide public view.
So?
Seeing as you are referencing explicitly politics, it's literally the only organization that fits.
That's barely English. It's so bad it conveys no information.
Even if deportations based on race exist outside of ICE, they're just a regular thing, like police arresting somebody, firefighters extinguishing fires or doctors prescribing medicine. At best some of them will be known in their local area.
What? Are you high? I hope so.
Most Asian countries actually are focused on their own lives and their own culture. It's not a 'bubble'. The average person simply has no interest or benefit from finding out about things that have zero impact on their lives.
Yeah. Google "black trucks Japan".
Again, it's literally the only place that is making headlines world-wide for this very thing.
You're clearly American.
And it's also the only one that was specifically brought up by anyone in this thread.
Not me.
Proof? YOU didn't provide even a single name of an organization that does it that is hitting headlines as a political play.
I also didn't mention headlines.
This shows your level of comprehension. I did not say even a single positive thing about America. In fact, I didn't actually talk about America to begin with.
ICE is an American organisation.
The fact that I said that this plot point is not political has literally zero to do with America.
Someone being deported based on a newly-enacted law isn't political?
Oh? Are the voices in your head also telling you how ridiculous you sound? No? Then you shouldn't listen to them, cause they clearly are lying to you.
You really need to relax.
Telling you that this is not mirroring events in America is absolutely NOT a thinly veiled propaganda saying the exact opposite of what I actually wrote. If you seriously think it is, then you seriously need help.
That's the most schizophrenic thing I have read since Francis E. Dec esq.
Law enforcement is literally not allowed to be political. It is a GOVERNMENT entity. But you clearly don't even know what 'political' means. You're just throwing it around left and right for whatever pointless agenda you have.
They existbto enforce laws. The laws are what is political.
He literally drafted the law.

Also, you're being pedantic and trying to say that I'm saying "Him cop mean Trump bad!"
When what I am saying is "History repeats itself, and sure is repeating hard, right now."
Not everything that is tied to government is political, unless you want to tell me that hospitals are political entities.
Hospitals aren't government facilities, typically.
That road makers are political entities. That power plants are political entities.
The planning of the roads is a very political process. Takes years.
Being USED for politics does not make something POLITICAL.
That's just saying words.
What? You saying that "this arc is about the abuse of power, but cannot possibly be inspired by abuse of power elsewhere because that would be abuse of power" doesn't make that idea coherent.
In whose capacity he does not act.
That's... not correct.
Quite the opposite. He is literally hiding the fact that he is an elected official, and with that, explicitly denying any ties to politics.
Many people know who he is.
And doing something in secret is still doing it.
You really need to do something about those voices in your head. I don't know why they've told you that I said that either here or in real world it is either good or bad, when I did not do such a thing even remotely.
I mentioned racism, you brought up ICE and started crashing out about "politics". Generally see that sort of behaviour from MAGA.
The only thing I said is that the events of this story are NOT tied to the events in real world.
Which is absurd.
Both correct and absolutely relevant. It seems it's too much for you to understand though.
Ad hominem.

Please stop crashing out at me.

You will not change my opinion.

Opinions are like arseholes; everyone has one, and mine is the best.

Edit: OH! You just don't know what "politics" means! Read the Wikipedia article in its entirity, then two books cited, and come back.

Don't jump the gun here. Let's review everyone who knows Iruma is human
  • Sullivan, Opera, and Bachiko
  • Balam-sensei
  • Henry and Ameri (probably maybe--highly suspect at least)
  • Chosen people in the Baal/Kiriwo orbit, which includes the 6 Fingers (including Shiida just last issue)
  • Narnia and his confederate at Border Patrol
So this "reveal" (so far) has not revealed Iruma's humanity to anyone who weren't already told about it.

Iruma's humanity could continue to be a secret from the Demon World at large, depending on how this next arc plays out.

I don´t get it Iruma IS BLEEDING How are the demos around him capable of staying calm, Henry went nuts for a simple abrasion and < than 1 ml of blood (i guess), if the mask is enough to stop the smell of "that much" human blood Why all the preparations for Amelie´s birth?

Quite a cunning plan. The most interesting thing in this arc is how others will react to this reveal. Also I wonder why Alikerd did not react.

Yeah that definitely came outta nowhere I expected them to take a whole lot longer to actually figure out He's human
I wonder if there is even bigger plot coming. I also thought that it would be one of the last arcs. Though it does not feel like the end is near as a lot of secrets left. Though I like how the plot was organized that we learnt about Ameri's mother and now this revelation. Very clever.

P.S. Also lol at people arguing about ICE and ACAB. Considering that it might attract screeching people of the reddit kind, I will ignore that discussion :ROFLMAO:

Damn it, even in the demon world ICE is annoying.
Sorry to notify you about this, but

This is literally the first comment I have read that mentioned ICE in this thread, aside someone accusing me of talking about it.

Because I don't go out of my way to read comments.

I'm here to make jokes and snide remarks about the chapters themselves, not socialise.

But no, people have to get all up in my business because I pointed out the obvious, and they're younger than ICE itself...

"You must be talking about America, because everyone in the world talks about America!"
You see, that's why I was vague. I didn't want to reference one specific instance when I can name like 5 countries with rising racial nationalism while high AF, and without thinking hard.
