You guys do know that this manga being NTR is the point right? It doesn't seem particularly badly written, it just feels like a heterosexual version of My Girlfriend's Not Here Today. Hate-reading is a thing. A lot of readers like to pick up a trashy manga, get sickened but curious, and keep reading to see where the train wreck of a story takes them. They're critical, but still enjoy it for what it is.

The MC not exactly being a great guy is kind of the thing about cheaters, they're not particularly known for being good or logical people.

It's less about him being a scumbag (can't blame him for playing his role in the story), and more about him being so passive and wishy washy and boring. He started dating Suzuka, because she wanted to; started two-timing with Ria, because she wanted to; and even lets this random lady do whatever she wants, as if he had no free will to make his own choices.
It's hard to even call him a cheater when he's such a spineless amoeba who gets swept up by the drama between those girls. It's almost like they're just using him to cheat on each other.
