It's not so much "pleasing" the "Heroïne" , but all the data our FL has is that if the story-protag doesn't cooperate and she gets that "all-happy" ending, she's going to Disappear one way or another.
Which has her rightly scared as hell....

I wonder when she will realise that the "heroïne" is really just your typical selfish HighSkool Queen Bee ( and tropey as hell....) and that the Special Route she has avaiable may well be her Out of her predicament.
