So essentially, the MC and this girl (Fumi) were part of a group directing a movie. They were getting close but the MC has NO romantic interest in Fumi. However Fumi had gotten into an NTR bait situation with a man and the MC managed to save her. Fumi began to catch feelings for him.

One evening Fumi kisses the MC (she did NOT know that he and the FMC were dating) and the FMC would catch this.

Now context for the FMC, throughout some chapters she would be told how the MC was seen with this girl (this was cleared up by him and he even explained to the FMC how Fumi was almost assaulted), and heard some things out of context. Yet rather than simply talking it out and hearing explanations..

The FMC sees them kiss and she runs away. She runs away and goes to the boy you see her with that has been interested in her. And while she's vulnerable, the guy she's with well.. you've seen what happens.
