totally normal reaction after seeing MC's power, they seriously thought he was some kind of god and It's kinda weird how the anime skipped so many of the good scenes. The manga does a much better job explaining everything in detail, so those moments hit a lot harder. Honestly, the manga version just feels way more satisfying.
