So in short, the gods are desperate and need some STRONGEST DISCIPLE to clean the world of mess, because gods do not dirty their own hands. :notlikethis:
A typical classy trope of isekai to be a whore hero, but it works. Start was a bit a mess with the spokesman stating they are summoned for their modern knowledge, but proceed to sparta train them, and cherry on top of boi baited with BE THE ERO YOU ALWAYS WANTS TO BE. :nyoron:

I don't think it is mentioned how long he has trained.
Let's say the year he is isekai as year 0. Woman tells him there was 1 15 years ago, then say add another 1 in 10 years before that, that they are the adept they get in his batch, and now he is the latest addition. I'd say MC trained for longer than 25 years.

I wonder what happened to the OVER 9000 adepts they send to save the world. Taking into account 10 years is fastest to make a proper adept, means its been 90 millennia of the problems. How the hell the people/civilization still persist in that very long time?? Verily an absurd plotting.
Next, what happened to thousands giving up and leave? Leave where?? They are trapped here just to suffer.
its mentioned on Page 52, in the bottom left though.

Getting an elf girl as his first friend (who's totally future harem material) kinda gives me Maou no Ore ga Dorei Elf wo Yome ni Shitanda ga vibes for some reason. Is this MC gonna turn out super naive later on like your usual isekai slop, or will he actually have a backbone without all that generic naive MC crap? :aquadrink:

I reread this 3 times.. how can I missed that??

If a God's words are absolute commands can't they just say no more dungeons? Or just make a bunch of people adapts? Obviously they can interfere with the world if evil gods were the ones that made the dungeons that begin with.
I have several agreements. :smugchisato:

Bringing in random people to build anything useful would be quite difficult. We live in an age where how our technology works is so opaque, we really have no idea. Long past are the days where you could have basic mechanical knowledge and be able to fix all your household appliances - everything has a needless amount of rubbish attached to it, seemingly to stop this very sort of mechanical literacy, and the DIY fixes that would come from said literacy.
Like, does a car really need a computer to run?

The more advanced our tech, the less any one person can understand it. It takes the knowledge and skills of multiple people to understand and create it.
The isekai'd people could try recreating simpler older tech, but that is predicated on them knowing how the older tech works, and since it's old and obsolete, and only becoming moreso, that's rather unlikely.

And that's just the building of the tech with the materials if you already have them. Let's say you need plastic... well... how is plastic made? Now you suddenly need that knowledge as well, and all the skills involved with that.

So yeah, their plan is surprisingly difficult to pull off - moreso, because they seem to be only bringing the young over. :worry:

Man the amount of people at the end all broken and waiting for the adept to save them is wild
Mc 100% looks to be the type to be easily swindled by them, I would not be surprised if other adepts got swindled, broken heart etc and then turned to the dark side and is helping the dark gods or something :aquadrink:

I also wonder whats the power level difference, what makes 1 adept stronger then the other, is it the skill they wished for or is it how long it takes someone to graduate? :thonk:

Call me an autist but this worldbuilding is putting me off.
Country the size of Eurasia. Planet "many times" larger than Earth. Just the known areas of the evil ass rape dungeon is "several times" bigger than their planet.
Is the author trying to compensate for something with all this size?
I don't think the author has any sense of scale. You're the last person left on Earth. You have a shovel. You are now ordered to fill all manholes on Earth...
...Except the Earth is one single dungeon ten times the size of Earth. On a planet ten times the size of Earth. With tens of dungeons. And instead of manholes it's boss rooms. In all of those dungeons. While you live...

Someone tell higher-ups on that planet that nobody could skip the tech tree. What do I mean? For example, you won't get to make a car if you don't know jack about internal combustion. Which means, start from simple steam engine first. And to get that steam engine, one have to know how to purify and mold iron first. After that's done, figure out a fuel that's somehow more efficient than wood. Our world have coal and petrol, that world better have the equivalent if not better.

Want more near-immediate result? Get to agricultural reform like crops rotation and fertilizer. Followed immediately by massive weapon that need little training like spear and crossbows (or better yet, musket!)

Come on! Grow a brain already higher-ups! There's more than 9,000 isekai'd people over there! Someone should've known about basic stuff!

You would think that after summoning this many people, they'd eventually end up with an autist who's obsessed with trains or tanks
They would worship this man as a god.

Yeah, Sci-Fi/fantasy writers have always been bad with scaling but damn they're really going above and beyond on this one. It's almost impressive in it's own weird way.

Better to do that in the first few pages than go to the slave market out of nowhere 10 chapters in.
Oh absolutely. It's best when authors tell you exactly what you need to know in the first chapter so that the reader could decide whether it's an instant skip or instant bookmark.

Heck, they have MAGIC that can reverse death.
Glean the high-school physics and basic principles, then substitute everything that requires metallurgical and technical research with MAGIC

Skip ICEs, go straight for electric motors and dynamos. Energy per gram is meaningless if you can conjure energy via magic.
Rare-earth permanent magnets though? Yeah, they're on their own with that. Even fantasy magic has nothing on that stuff.

Can kinda take shortcuts and speedrun the process but depends on what you got. Naturally available materials are the key. No coal/petrol but a lot of trees? Can make charcoal for higher burn temperatures. Have easy access to copper and tin? Bronze works as a better alternative to iron. With some ingenuity you can make precision machined parts without electricity. Not mentioning all the downstream effects of simply being able to refine and work purer metals. Until you get to computers and electronics, there's very little in the way of engineering and technology you can't make without an industrial base, just need some elbow grease, artisanal talent, and creative application of the 6 simple machines.

Our technological progress is the result of endless trial and error and spread of effective knowledge. Simply bringing knowledge of what works and what doesn't is invaluable. Being able to identify these things in their world even moreso. Like the reason fire clay is called that is because we learned a specific type of clay with X properties produced a ceramic that was incredibly resilient to high temperatures where normal ceramics would break down. These are things you can explain with knowledge of chemistry and atoms; you can explain the "why" rather than saying "it just is".

I feel the cost to save elf girl's village is going to be the eternal servitude of the elf girl and the 1st member of the MC's harem. And since the cover art showed her in a maid outfit, she will learn the ultimate magic spell "Moe Moe Kyun"

How did he spend 25 years training and not age a single day from the looks of it? Hell, not even a single person around him looks like they aged a single day. Does the castle have some type of anti-aging magic on it while people are inside training so the gods can build people up?

Or is the life magic something that basically stops the aging process entirely? Or, most likely, the author has no idea what to do with the story already and decided to say how he's only the third person to become an adept after twenty five years of being summoned in the group to show how important he is.
