True, the art made me think it had the potential to be one of those rare slop isekai premises that makes it out the woodwork and reaches above an 8/10 rating, but nah this deserves less than a 4 if i’m being generous 😂

So I was curious as to whether or not this was a slave harem isekai slop or actually a story about a guy who doesn't know love coming to find out about it, and it seems to be the latter from my rough skimming (Ctrl f slave, potion, love, in each chapter) of the first few novel volumes as he hasn't enslaved or even really spoken about love potions past the initial chapters. I can't say if it's good or not as I really only was looking to see whether if it is a slave harem, but it does seem to have some interesting concepts and worldbuilding past the first few chapters/volume 1. So if the slave parts were a turnoff to you but this seemed interesting otherwise then you might want to give this a shot. Get past the dubious opening then there honestly might be a good story here considering the praise this has gotten from other authors.

I reached the ending. The story is about self-discovery journey, especially about love.

But, there's no real conclusion to the romance development. And of course, no harem.

Well, if you think that "Oh, so this's love" is enough for a conclusion of a romantic story, then you may enjoy the journey.

Personally, based on my taste, it should be the beginning of the journey, not the ending.

I'm gonna go with "fucking" and "eww", in that order. The tagline seems innocent and sweet, and then in the first chapter - "I wanna use love potions to force people I find attractive to fuck me". Fuck this shit, I'm out.

It's been said by others before about these awful wish fulfillment Isekai manga, but it's worth repeating: the writers of these works can't even imagine that anyone would be willing to fuck them in their own power fantasies. They imagine themselves as rapists and slavers because even in their wildest dreams they can't ever imagine themselves being truly loved.

The only way a story like this works is if the MC manages to discover what it means to love and be loved. As it currently stands the opening is so rushed it basically feels like a "woe is me everything that could have gone wrong, did" to serve as the foundation for his motivation. Don't have any major hopes for the story but hey, the art is great. If he dodges the creep route then this could be a solid 6 out of 10. Maybe a 7, if his development is compelling enough.
