The first chapter seems promising, but it can go in any direction from here, so I’m abstaining from giving a rating.

For example, it could a romcom route with the ice empress and the MC, it could be a psychological thriller where the MC is sought after by the yandere ice empress (hence the title “Coming On Strong to Me”) as his classmates get more distrusting due to his behavior (which is hinted at), it could be some psychological tragedy where someone like his previous false accuser messes with his family, or it could go fluffy slice of life route and he just chills.

The first chapter alone is so vague that literally anything could happen, which is so surprising to me. Like, this is the first time I’ve abstained from a review rating after catching up with a manga. I think.

The whole protagonist and heroines theme is so cringe, why does everything have to be a fucking video game.

Past life was a bad end with heroine failing to save him as he jumped. Possibly the only person that actually believed him and might also have time traveled with MC.
Who apparently knew something, but did nothing as all sorts of shit happened to him, and made zero effort until the very end, when she suddenly activate "too little, too late".

There's another title that's very similar to this one, where the girl is the one responsible for the time loop, and she tries to make sure MC "lives a good life".

Overall, I feel like there's no way this anything other than self-fulfilment slop
If that other one was a girl with a watch... The problem with that one is that the heroine essentially dedicates years and years of her life in an effort to save the guy. Sadistic author.

I mean, it's only the first chapter. We could find out later on that she really did try to say something, but was ignored because the mob believed the popular people over some loner who's only friend accused him in front of the entire school.

This seems pretty generic, but if it's got anything going for it right now, it'd be the fact that his past life seems to actually be affecting how he views the world in this one. Most stuff like this basically only brings in the past life as a plot device, so hopefully it stays like this.

I won't answer the who is "HE" unless you want huge spoiler.

For your second question, it's both

I didn't read volume 3 yet, but at the end of volume 2, we have the point of view of Iba Kouki, the girl with glasses, on the 2 timelines. Actually, the trap set in the 1st timeline also happen in the 2nd, but this time MC was smarter. After the failure, Iba got nightmares about the 1st timeline where MC and his familly died because of her accusation. Actually, the goal behind the false accusation was to make MC drop out but it goes too far. In her first life, Iba felt huge guilt and regret about what happened. One week after MC death, Iba commit suicide too. When she wakes up of this dream, she felt the regret and guilt of her previous life, and heard a voice telling her to protect MC and Hidaka, but she refused and say she'll make them happy instead
Can you pls tell me who is HE? I dont mind big spoiler

Alright, so far so good.
The premise alone guarantees the protagonist takes action within the story because of the catastrophic consequences in case he decides to go with the flow.

And it seems like the girl was either interested in him since the previous timeline or she travelled back in time with him too (maybe she jumped after him).

Looking forward to how this one develops.

Why was ice princess at roof when MC jumped and does she also know what happened in the first timeline?
to answer your question, she's in the rooftop because she doesn't want him to die and ig everybody see that on below the rooftop, and fyi she always protect him even after getting falsely accused, so after seeing him jump off the rooftop, she kill herself 3 days after the mc died. and for your second question, no she doesn't have information on his first life.

All she had to do was talk to him.

Keep in mind that the only evidence against him was a video that was being displayed by someone, who by displaying it, demonstrated that they had unlocked access to his phone.

Then his dad dies, his mother is murdered, his little sister is truck-kuned, and no one shows him any sympathy. Even if the dude had done what they thought he did, he still should have gotten some sympathy.

But...

What I've become more aware after so many stories like this (plus other knowledge about JP), is that the JP mindset is more hive like (then Western). More hivelike, vastly more hierarchical, vastly more "get put into a lane and stay in that lane once you fall into it".

Hence in this case, MC got locked into "Hentai Pervert" lane, while everyone else was already organized into "Romcom story arrangement" -- so they had their romcom lanes, and they stayed in them. Which seems absurd from Western perspective.

BTW, skimming the LN...
Yes. Very much so. Seriously, the dude is a freak.

Also skimming... It's very much about social manipulation, including by the MC. Like a chess game of social manipulation. ...

Skimming further... The "chess game of social manipulation" is why to read it.
