ShiSaku was building for 102 chapters, fuckboi setup was cooking for the last 20 so not too ridiculous but committing this to be final ending would be the dumb cop out here. There is still a door to redemption.

Equally stupid to me is Shinobu agreeing to hook up with Fumi, the girl who caused the misunderstanding in the first place and made him lose Sakura. Even now his thoughts are full of Sakura so it'd be weird if he just accpeted. Would Airi do something dumb like this, maybe, but for now I'll maintain the slightest of faith, the truth needs to come to light, and hooking up with Fumi here reduces the chances of that happening to 0 effectively.

In Airi's writing patterns, in one of Zarami Zakari endings the MC married a different woman YET STILL was obsessed over the main heroine, so I have no doubt if MH told MC to leave his marriage and elope with her he would.

We are the readers who know more than the characters know.

From Shinobu's POV so far:
Sakura saw kissing another woman.
Was unable to contact her to explain himself at all.
Hide that once slept with Fumi which Yuuma used to feed Sakura misinfo unknown to him.
This wouldn't have happened if Shinobu had been honest and told Sakura about it.
He KNOWS Sakura has trust issues thanks to her father being a cheater to her mother.
This lead to Sakura not trusting Shinobu the second time this happens.
To Shinobu's POV Sakura doesn't want anything to do with him and has had sex with Yuuma various times to the point Sakura send Yuuma to tell him that and ask him too cut any laboral ties with him.
To MC's pov he screwed up and Sakura decided to leave him. That's how Shinobu sees this all.

Sakura has agency on this too, her biggest flaw being her refusal to confrontation, as I've said before she always avoids talking because that leads to confrontation, confrontation leads to the truth and the truth leads to accountability and that's poison to female writers.

He took a stab wound for this bitch. Plus never stood up for him when other bad mouthed him and did even give him the chance to explain never said no to fuckboi of the blonde chick the kiss was just an excuse she used to have sex with fuckboi.

That's likely why, or rather what some us want to believe, Sakura broke up over text. She realized she fucked up and so she just ran away to avoid confrontation.

If the author wills, they'll have a resolution, in the end its their job to envision it and for us the readers to just experience. ShiSaku will always belong together.

To add to the point about the author wishing to avoid conflict with Japanese fans, if you have heard stories of fans tracking down authors at their homes or even burning down publishing houses, you would know that such fans can be extremely aggressive. So, many authors often conceal their identities and withhold contact details. I do not know if Airi Katsura sensei ever revealed her face to any fans. If she did even just once, she might fear that kind of aggression. This explains why she wouldn't dare respond to Japanese comments and instead simply instructed the web admin to delete them. She responds only to those she is certain are not in Japan. People she refers as foreigners.

I also want to add that this was Airi's attempt at making a love triangle.

And honestly? It was poorly executed. Mainly because it was being tackled on both fronts.

The issue stems from the fact that Yuma just got it too easy. He had help for one with Blondie and Sakura is usually a passive girl. What should have happened, was that while Shinobu was away, Sakura would get in more dicey situations but this time it's Yuma who's saving her while we also get to know him more. If you wanna do a love triangle do it properly.

Shinobu had moments with Fumi, it'd make sense as to why he'd begin to feel things for her despite his loyalty to Sakura and it was hindering him. THATS a love triangle.

It was working on the Shinobu front but was not working at all when it came to Sakura's from.
