Well, at least that's not a light novel... I don't hold dear Murakami but I've read Kafka's works, not that it has to do anything with Kafka's pop culture anyways. I'm not telling my favourite novel since it's really hard to pick a few from my personal library.

In recent chapters, Aisha (MC's half sister who had been in love with the MC when she was a kid) ran away together with Ars, MC's son, who's 11, because Rudeus wouldn't approve of their marriage, mind you this woman has been her caretaker since birth, and she fell in love with him because she saw Rudeus in him.
