This is like reading a Shounen that the author expected to be a hit and will continue for a long time instead just dumped every twist he planned because it got axed.

Thanks for finishing the scanlation. It was rough in some places, and some pages weren't in the right order, but it was readable.

On another note... Yeah, that series went full Chuuni, and that was magnificent. The only way things could have gone further is if it went the apotheosis route like the Shinza Banshou works (aka: Masadaverse), but I think it's better it ended here. The story was fine, but it constantly felt a bit rushed, so any further escalation would have been detrimental.

This series feels like the author had a really polished first few chapters but didn't have a solid plan past that and an editor that wanted the story to rush ahead to keep readers. Power scaled too quickly and fell apart.

Yeah, this manga had the feeling of one that expected to be axed around 10 chapters ago. Almost every chapter since then there was a new plot-twist pulled out of nowhere to quickly establish a new "ultimate baddie behind the curtains".

It left the story feeling like it was extremely rushed and close to the end, despite the goalposts of "the end" constantly being teleported one chapter further away.

The first few chapters were pretty good but after that the quality just went off a cliff. There are so many stupid polt holes like why the hell was ther a war for the past couple hundred years if the demon king was friendly with humans? Also as we saw the previous Demon King was an awful being and so the fact that they claim that humans attacked first was wrong.

Nice ending. its reminds me a bit of Violinist of Hameln the demon lord is that manga is very well written. im a bit not satisfied with Lorelei character, but it still gives enough despiser image for this manga plot.
Still, the other setting does not make much sense at all. xD

It fell of a cliff when it decided to introduce the spirit armament thing. Turned into a cookie cutter shonen battle manga with a rigid power system that wasnt even a factor in the initial premise.

Oh well.
