The ending makes me think that the real joke was on Kansai and Tokineko was just fuckin with her, but I guess when you can travel through and freeze time at will you gotta find ways of making your own entertainment, even if doing so involves trapping a catgirl in a spacetime bubble for 10 years.

Just had another thought after flipping through older chapters, what if Tokineko was also behind the New Year's Day timeloop in 109-111mg? Not that this manga has a strict continuity but it is a funny thought that the artist(s) had the concept of Tokineko in mind awhile ago if not the character.
