Technically Juvie, unlike Tachibana who got REAL PRISON TIME! Kondo kind of deserved the same, but his idiocy is likely WHY he didn't get it tried as an adult despite being EQUALLY sociopathic as she is, lucky him! Though guessing his IDIOCY is why he avoided a WELL DESERVED WORSE end!

Tachibana will have that Prison stay on her record, meaning the rest of her life will be as an Ex-Con which in Japan, is as BAD AS IT CAN GET for someone like her! Her sister, the FMC responsed with a plan that would make Edmund, the Count of Monte Cristo have a DAMN GIRL! It ends with his SISTER stabbed by her ASSHOLE husband when she PLAYS with his head and gets her to break things off as she never planned to keep him long and MOCKS HIM for falling for her seduction! Dude goes YANDERE on her with a knife at an ENGAGEMENT Party for the Bitch and the Fiancee in a "If I can't have her" manner! Suffice to say not ONLY will she NEVER have kids, but her AFFAIR is exposed publically! She's suffering from survivors guilt. Her mother died protecting her from a tunnel collapse which was caused by Kondo's father's company's improperly maintaining the tunnel. Because of this her father who used to dote on her has decided to push her away to protect her as he seeks vengeance against Kondo's father as well as those who were also involved in the embezzlement of the money that was supposed to go towards maintaining the tunnel. Her former classmates who were jealous of her took the opportunity to make fun of her as well as bully her for surviving while allowing her mother to die. They spread rumors behind her back and prank called her about the incident mocking her with lines like "why did you let me die" stating she's the one responsible for her mother's death. Because of this experience Ai knows full well how bullshit rumors are and it's the reason why she never believed any of the rumors regarding Eiji.

While he did transfer her hoping to give her some space from it all and also punishing those who were messing with his daughter, Ai's father failed to comprehend how fragile Ai's mental state was. The loss of her mother, her father pushing her away, as well as the shallowness of the people around her who were only after her due to her appearance broke her causing her to go to the rooftop that day to end it all.

Ai's parents and Eiji's parents are actually very close friends despite the two never having met before their meeting on the rooftop. Her father used to visit Aono Kitchen all the time, to the point Eiji comfortable calls him Uncle. Aono's mom treats Ai as a daughter not only because of how she's helped Eiji, but also because she notices how much Ai resembles her mother whom Aono's mom was close with. However she doesnt press Ai to reveal her circumstances and respectfully waits for Ai to tell them everything herself.

Ai does eventually reveal her past to them and reconciles with her father thanks to Eiji's efforts. When Ai sought a confession from Eiji to affirm her feelings, Eiji messes it up and instead ends up basically proposing to her instead making Ai very happy in the process. Ai's father is very supportive of their relationship since he already knows what kind of person Eiji is.

No words were heard, however the video CLEARLY shows next to Kondo "HITTING" Eiji unwarrented, proving he LIED about laying a hand on him along with Miyuki also exposed as lying cause GUESS WHAT! Eiji never grabbed her on her wrist....KONDO DID as the video showed, meaning his "I didn't see or no nothing" is also proven a lie!

Seeing her son's "humilation" and be HARMED, and ALL because Miyuki had to be a Slut! Ms. Aono.....REGRETS letting Miyuki off with a "Stay away from my family" earlier and wished she had STRANGLED her instead back then! Next to the Fact the Teacher gets a copy of the Stream, which goes on among MANY OTHER THINGS leading to the EXPLUSIONS of Miyuki and Kondo! As others said previously! Miyuki SQUANDERED her last chance to tell the truth, and not even for KONDO, because SHE was scared of losing her reptuation, and acknowledging later that losing Eiji meant that REPUTATION was pointless so she wrecked his life to save ONLY HERSELF! Just another level of her SELFISHNESS

But Ms. Aono, on Eiji's behalf as his mother and Guardian, she files a police report and plans on SUEING BOTH KONDO AND MIYUKI! Over the assault back in chapter 1 in Kondo's case, and the Slander and Conspiracy in Miyuki and ESPECIALLY Kondo's case! THIS leads to the police following up, and Kondo like the LOSER COWARDLY SMUG SNAKE THAT HE IS "Running away" when they show up at the school for him and getting his ass arrested cause THEY ONLY CAME TO QUESTION HIM! If he had kept his cool, they'd have left after questioning him and that would be it, but well a DATE later with Miyuki that I think is UPCOMING here in the Manga will SHOW "Just how BRAVE Kondo is when things aren't working in his favor! He's smug because of a sense of invincibility, but show A CHINK and he will panic and show how much of a LOSER he really is) This just starts the FUSE on disproving the lie that Kondo was "a big hero who protected Miyuki from her creepy EX BF Eiji" since seeing him being carted off

The Second INTERVIEW and Miyuki panicking when questioned by the other students WHY she's being called back in and begging forgiveness is the DEATH KNELL as now EVERYONE IN HER CLASS and the SCHOOL EVENTUALLY discover she and Kondo CONSPIRED against Eiji and LIED, Eiji wasn't the "creepy Ex BF Stalker" he became "The poor loyal BF who was betrayed by his GF who cheated on him, then to protecT HERSELF from expusured, CONSPIRED with Kondo to frame HIM as the bad guy!" While that's not 100% the truth as Miyuki was POINTLESSLY irrelevent once she choose to remain SILENT, which only WORSENS her REPUTATION LOSS as again, "keeping quiet" destroyed ANY CHANCE once the truth came out for her to save herself!

Kondo is lucky! Jail, Explusion and Juvie mean he doesn't have to SUFFER the effects of his reptuation loss and the students turning on him, ESPECIALLY the Soccer Club who get EXPELLED AND CLOSED DOWN for their part in helping Kondo by targeting Eiji for bullying! Not a single one is INNOCENT, especially the TEAM CAPTAIN who as you saw in HIS interview before Miyuki, "LIED" about noticing anything going on, INCLUDING how Kondo co-opt the Club Members into his personal minions because he SELFISHLY was focused on his "University Propsects that he COULDN'T MUSTER getting Kondo under control and LET him do as he pleases! He may not have been WORKING for Kondo, but his inactions and willful neglect was MORE then enough to AID in his corrupting the club for his wrong doings!" Suffice to say Kondo best never run into ANY of his FORMER PEONS as they made it CLEAR for ruining their future (even though it was STILL their choice to believe and follow Kondo's lead so equally their own faults) they plan to "bust him up if they ever see him!" And the loss of his FATHER'S STATUS AND MONEY and being a NOBODY NOW means Kondo's in for a WELL DESERVED BEATING SOME DAY!

But Miyuki isn't so lucky and has to deal with "what Eiji went through" only WORSE and WELL DESERVED that even SHE can't feel sorry for herself when she remembers she ABANDONED Eiji to this which he never deserved! She went from "innocent girl next door" to "A slut who will let ANYONE do her" (Not true as she only did it with Kondo, but well, what you'd expect!

I hope the manga follows the webnovel in this regard. It was so satisfying to read.

Miyuki will get utterly rejected from even apologising or seeing Eiji by both Ai and his mother to the point she falls into depression, self wallowing and attempts to take her own life and is still stopped by Ai. She is abandoned by her mother, stops eating well and collapses and starts requiring supervision. She literally doesnt atone for like 200 chapters before she finally did something slightly better: testifying against Kondo at his trial. As of most recently she seems to be changing slightly and trying to atone, attempting to save her former friend from becoming a prostitute, but given how much the author likes to write her just pity herself its gonna take a while before she actually fully atones.

Kondo is legitimately insane. He gets confronted with irrefutable evidence of his wrongdoings and attempts to escape getting cornered by the police and school by running, ends up assaulting a police officer (iirc) and getting arrested in front of the whole school. His lawyer cant save him (and doesnt even want to, instead berating him and putting all the blame on him, gigachad lawyer), his father attempts to silence the school and Eiji’s family but gets destroyed by Ai’s father along with a bunch of other political figures, Eiji’s mother and the school principal. Kondo then loses everything, including his trial, soccer career and school life and is put in juvenile detention (or straight up prison i forgot which one) and is currently suffering in there with people worse than him. Probably missing a few details but thats the gist of it.

I was actually talking about the other friend of Miyuki that always hated Eiji and was the one who actually spread the photos and got the soccer club to harrass Eiji. But Tachibana going to prison is great too. Honestly I do not think she is going to change. If anything she is just going to blame everyone for what happened to her.
