Yeah we are but no one is forcing you to? You're free to wait for KDT to upload their stuff as well. Why would they translate with AI something that has already been translated ? KDT probably had a few translated chapters in store and decided to drop them at the same time, once every 1-2 months as they usually do, nothing out of the ordinary.

I don't see the issue? He's translating it sooner for people that want to read it faster. It's pirated either way, this isn't really a morals typa thing to argue about. The quality of translations is good and no watermark so I'll read whoever's faster (the chapter after this is peak also btw hope it's translated soon).

The raws are censored until volume releases uncensored version. Volume 5 just released so this'll be volume 6 which won't be for a couple months. Unless you mean literally redraw and decensor it which is a big ask

You act like decensoring is some easy thing translators have to do or are all just capable of doing? The sniper translating faster is a reason to support them what are you talking about man. This should be obvious no? Your reading a manga pirated and translated for free. What support are you actually providing that warrants them to care

If you have no audience then it doesn't matter how good of a artist you are, right? Actors aren't on stage recording themselves for the fuck of it, and writers don't self-publish just to burn their own books.

I certainly don't and can't do my own work just for the fuck of it in this economy, and I'm the type of person who would rather work for free--It's dishonest as fuck to pretend that people doing these third-party scans and translations aren't doing it with a goal in mind, whether that's something petty like sniping rival teams, or trying to get easy support through donations and patreon.
Or is this truly a love-of-the-game moment? Can you speak on behalf of Mr. AI for this?

And just to be clear... I don't expect anything. The baseline fact of the matter is it's not going to happen, regardless of how low the bar is in any situation. There are still people willing to pay for censored content, and willing to pay triple for decensored, so the wheel stays broken no matter how much easier fixing it will make the ride home.

Bro this guys account has no group. He has no website or any contact info on his profile. There's no watermarks or link to discord or PayPal or anything. What could he possibly be gaining from this. Kdt scans literally had a patron that would release chapters earlier which is ban able by the rules but even then I wouldn't care as it's their work as long as it's not garbage quality go ahead and profit off it. This guy isn't even profiting though so yes he's doing it for the love of the game he literally states that his mtl translation came out well so he'd polish it and post it for people to read sooner. What is so hard to understand here?? Kdt scans didn't post for months that's their problem people want to read the manga on their manga reading site no one cares who got it first.

This is a manga reading site?? People use this to read manga. If the manga releases faster then that's a valid reason to "support" them. What other value could there possibly be besides translation quality and possible decensoring(which is already extremely rare) to use on translator over another besides translation speed. What is sad about that it's the literal point of this platform, to pirate and read manga.

And why do you keep saying "support" he's not making money off this. He has nothing linked that could possibly give him money from "sniping" this and even said to read kdt scans if his translations are not preferred. And again if he did have some way of funding as long as it's not affecting the quality of the work, who cares. Neither of us are supporting kdt or this guy with actual money obviously so this high ground of "support" doesn't exist.

People will read the faster translator until a better translation drops that's all, no need to bash on the faster guy cause the "quality" one is slower but did it first.

There's no way to guarantee anything if it's not from your own mouth, and that's assuming--which I am--that you're being candid.

There's no point asking if you're actually translating or leaving it to MTL with personal touch-ups, because I don't trust that, you named your own group -Jet AI-. That's on you, candidness or not, in addition to still remaining a sniper.
