I honestly don't see how he could possibly win at this point.

Plus, IF he were to win, what of the manga then? Cause I'm pretty sure we're going to see those four primordial gods freed from their seal.... So the (fake) Odin can't die here, unless that's part of the plan too...

Its Marie Curie Skłodowska, and if she is supposed to speak polish and French in Addition to eng/jp it's nie, not ne. Not sure if it's the authors or TLs mistake, but it always hurts

Tbh I don't think Odin, or even the primordial gods are the final boss. It's gotta be Brunhilde, right? She's constantly reacting strangely to things and it has been pointed out on multiple occasions she is acting strange to the point Buddha outright accuses her of having another motive, and she gets REAL mad when he says that.

I think the entirety of Ragnarok is a ploy to keep the gods busy so she can free Siegfried then take revenge on the now weakened gods. (Who humanity might then side with, having gotten rid of the evil Odin and grown a begrudging respect over the course of the tournament)

It would also serve as a good excuse for the tournament to not finish, interrupting the thirteenth match.

Why did they put an inward curve in the middle of Kintoki's axe and very specifically have the spear go in it, only for that to not do anything? I figured the whole point of that was he would twist it to disarm Odin or break the spear. Wasted opportunity.

By law of record of ragnarok who ever has the saddest story/ the longer story to describe feats will win. Aside from Adam.

Kintoki really went 'Nice complex hax ability, you dork. Now check THIS out'.

Hope he wins and we move on from the tournament cause otherwise we're stuck with a boring losing streak for humanity and we already had the 'true purpose of the tournament' revealed. Just move on to rescuing the losers from Hel so everyone can gang up on Yggdrasil.

Not gonna lie, seeing Odin's ability like that was creative and dope as hell. I don't think I've seen that kind of 'body control' before. At the same time, Odin's a dumbass for not saying "Rib, pierce thine lungs/heart." 'Entrails' in these kinds of manga might as well be the Baki-infinite-blood-storage-room.

Lets move on to the next fight already. If Kintoki somehow wins this, it's going to be the most ass pulling power of friendship + ancestral spirit love overcoming despair type bullshit.
In before the Japanese deities 'accidentally trip' and give him a pair of spiritual earplugs with a bit of healing.

Also, what is the author smoking that "Der Ring Des Nibelungen" is "humanity's greatest masterpiece." I know I'm not that cultured but I've literally never heard of it.

Calling the Nibelungenlied the greatest masterpiece is a very odd choice... Having never heard of it is fucking wild. I salute your commitment to only reading manga and listening to anisongs.
