Hello Readers, I hope you enjoy. Please let me know if you notice any mistakes or translation issues so I can correct them. I had finished the MTL & Cleaning way back in late November of 2025. I ended up finishing up half the chapter along with the start & end pages this weekend since I was bored and had some music I wanted to listen to while being productive. Anyways, enjoy the chapter and I will see you soon (or maybe not)

Interesting twist, a good food review but the main character is worldly yet ignorant at the same time

Thank you very much for the translation!

On page 9, I think it's supposed to be 'a la carte' and not 'not a la carte'?

I was learning a few months ago but stopped, I was using Duolingo then Renshu for learning. Just knowing the Hirigana & Katakana has been getting me by as well as using Jisho and other tools for the specific Kanji to get me through a chapter. I may pick up Japanese again but it is quite hard as a native english speaker.

Its a bit oddly worded even in the original JP text, but I think my translation was also causing confusion. In the original text he orders the set meal to which the chef pretty much says "are you sure?"

Speaker - JP Text - English TL
Uncle Mike - すいません - Excuse me
Uncle Mike - ロモサルタードセットください - Lomo Saltado Set Please
Chef - 単品じゃなくて? - not just the single item right?
Uncle Mike - はい - Yes

The chef says "単品" with a more literal translation of the kanji being single/individual item or not part of the set. I tried to keep it as similar to the JP text, but as it was its weirdly worded.

I reworked the page to flow and be understood better which you should see in a moment. I appreciate your input as it helps me learn. Thank you for reading.

In case anyone was like "oh man i should hit my supermercado and get some Inca Cola" I'll let you know two things.

1. They may well have it! At least, my local ones do. Your mileage may vary ofc.
2. One can has 76% of your daily recommended sugar. Diabetes in a can.
