For a real shit hitting the fan, I'm expecting a public confession that is seen by both Taiyou and his mom, and Taiyou can't hold back his jealousy so that his mom notices and then abuses him for deceiving her again.

And then Taiyou turns around and takes it out on Yuki, causing another highly visible permanent scar. Bonus kudos if it happens and their uni friend group are witnesses for even more fallout, or Yuki loses her rental job over the scandal. 🤔

I don't see Masayuki as the type of guy to go crazy and become a stalker. Maybe he really just is in a tough financial situation and has to cut down on the dates. He has been a really reasonable guy so far, so maybe this is just him realizing that he's living an impossible dream, and through confessing he hopes to find closure and move on. At least that's what I'm hoping is happening.
