Honestly, I really dislike how people try to excuse Sakura's actions with lines like 'she was just stupid.' To me, she just comes off as a total hypocrite.

I understand this very deeply. I guess I'm seeing it more from a perspective of if the writer decides to show that Shinobu still wants to be with Sakura over Fumi then at that point it is what it is.

That's a good point, or just really show her suffering an even worse breakdown than the last one. End up being unable to work for months or something and tanking her acting career aspirations because fucboi didn't support her enough and Shinobu only got her to the starting point.

By contrast, Shinobu at least has the producer, who points out his shortcomings and pushes him to improve as a screenwriter. Sakura, on the other hand, still has Mio backing her up even when she's about to make choices that only create more problems for herself.

Agreed,it is hard to do because of 131 when the blondie told that she made the right decison to choose Fuckboi over Shinobu.
