Honestly, she (author) did it to herself. I really hope it happened because of her F-Tier writing and not because of the harassment she got as a result. Even JP people are calling this news rushed while still hating on Sakura nonstop.

From the looks of this, Sakura will go for it and end things with actor-kun. IF in the final panel MC is looking at the billboard that features Sakura from a bunch of chapters ago, then it is over for us Fumi-bros, but it was a good 3-week run and we got to see some sweet non-rapey Fumi action. (TBH I was waiting for that MC-Fumi-Sakura threesome, but I guess it was not in the cards).

It is a gamble, if MC and Sakura reunite like this then, as everyone expected, there will be no consequences for Sakura cheating and she will always see herself as the victim (unless Fumi taking the L, or someone else reveals the truth next chapter). Either way MC will forgive her on the spot no questions asked, so I expect A LOT more pushback, especially from the JP side (just look at the official RAW site comments).

Overall, what a nothing-burger of a manga, it could’ve been (and for a couple of bits it actually was) a great critique of the dark side of the industry, while having our MC couple strong surviving all that nonsense, therefore meeting the author’s NTR-rom-com expectations, but hey, girl really let her fetish get the best of her and the editor was pretty much useless.

Hoping the artist (the only competent person on the team) can break their chains and go work with an actual author next, which is very likely after this fiasco, unless he/she is as twisted as Airi and/or they are preparing GraPara Shippudden.

TL;DR: Airi got what she deserved and should stay away from rom-coms. Anything can happen and whatever it is, it will probably be underwhelming. I wanted a MC-Fumi-Sakura threesome, but it doesn’t seem possible now.

So it really got axed, huh? I guess that explains a lot in retrospect. Looks like chapter 129 was a last-ditch Hail Mary to save the series, but it totally backfired. It feels like they were banking everything on that one big twist, hoping it would generate enough buzz to keep the series alive, but clearly it didn't work.

And Airi going on about writing something unique? That was just empty talk. There's no way they can wrap things up satisfactorily in just two chapters. That's barely enough time to resolve one subplot, let alone give the whole story a satisfactory conclusion.

So a few differences with a better TL, looks like the Producer actually does want to film the sex scene straight up instead of adding in some light fan service. Sakura and Fucboi's conversation didn't seem as bad, but bro did still downplay her beginnings as a gravure model and she's annoyed with him so the breakup card is still looming.

The Mio Sakura conversation didn't change much with the TL, Sakura's now resolved to push on and prove her values aren't wrong and the obvious conclusion is that she takes up the sex scene offer but maybe it leads her down a different choice of action, of which I have no clue so stay tuned in 2 weeks.

Whoa I like how you think! Shinobu seems a bit indecisive in the end of this chapter still, walking around and staring at things. There's a chance that in order to keep Fumi from doing the sex scene Shinobu goes back to the producer requests a similar looking actress and Sakura ends being given this new offer instead of the initial one she got.
