I honestly thought there'd be some romance between MC and Aiha, but nope, literally nothing at all

I think it elevates this kind of story. We’re following the perspective of an elf who’ll live far longer than anyone else in the series. The way this manga tackles this kind of life is genuinely beautiful and I’ve loved every second of it.

On the off-chance that anyone does complain, they probably don’t care much for actual story so it’s best not to humor their ignorance

The only thing I can really compare it to is sitting down and trying to go through my own memories as I get older.

Its a common trope in fiction and stories where characters with long lifespans are detached from human sentimentality and sense of time but this is the only manga that actually showed and made me feel that disparity in its full weight without it turning into an anecdote or a character trope were supposed to just accept. Each chapter gets harder and harder to read simply because characters im fond of inevitably die, the sceneries and landscape changes, every meeting is a farewell waiting to happen. At this point i dont know if i have it in me to keep reading newer chapters.
