Let me correct you here: There are 8 GAMES excluding the Remakes and the DLCs! 6 of them are plot-connected, Kyonyuu Fantasy 5 is a hard reset of the world (as in it doesn't happen in the same world as the other six) and Kyonyuu Majo happens in the distant future and many consider it to be a side story rather than a sequel (I am not among those people: That game is a bonafide sequel and I have proof to back it up!)
