for instance, it lost many pages about sakura and yuki went together to the swimming pool, and the manga although had the most information, but it kinda disjointed when you put them together, so just read the light novel, i recommend it to you to my honest reaction, it just so PEAK!!
But remember, it more deep than manga, so if you read the manga, just read the light novel, it would be more interesting and make you more understand about the story
