I was under the assumption that the MC was going through good character development. He finally got his first friend, became more comfortable with others, started opening up to people who care about him, managed to get a job, hit the gym, all this self-improvement MC has gone through. Yet he belittles himself and introduces himself as this: "Shy boy". NOTHING IS WRONG with having anxiety or with being introverted. You can be introverted or have Anxiety and STILL be an admirable person. I draw the line when you disregard your entire progress, when you throw away your dignity JUST for an introduction.

An introduction that hoenstly doesn't even mean much. MC could've just stated that he is introverted or that he lieks to keep to himself. Instead, he chose to call himself as "shy". THAT type of behavior, THAT word choice shows how much little self-respect MC has for himself. THAT I what I hate

I get that MC didn't become mr.worldwide but where is the self-resepct? where is his dignity? Why belittle yourself calling yourself shy when you are WAY more admirable than that. I understand being introverted, but calling youself "shy" REALLY!?!?!?

Idk I guess I relate to the mc a lot in this manner, I’ve personally grown a lot over the past few years but that doesn’t automatically mean I lost all of my self esteem issue either and it feels unfair to me to say the entire manga is mid just because he still has anxieties and self perception issues midway into the series
