I think it’s an act of jealousy or envy or maybe she thinks Shinobu is underestimating her. I think Fumi believes that if Sakura were the actress, it would be easier for Shinobu to make the movie or that she could help Shinobu more.

Just like other emotions, guilt can linger. Her feeling bad and blaming herself for it while also trying to make up for it however she can to make Shinobu happy is within reason.

They probably faded away bit with time, but once they reunited a part of it probably resurfaced and started building up again exponentially after hearing what happened in the end. I'm not attributing her current actions solely to guilt but suggesting that it's also in the mix of all the things Fumi could be going through as she makes the decision to do this: guilt, jealousy, inferiority complex towards Sakura.

Pretty hard to say. The movie finishes production, ShiFumi could end up drifting apart inevitably. Sakura PoV comes back into focus and we maybe see an interaction between her and fucboi. Maybe some surprising side characters make another appearance like Ryusei to push the finale plot in a particular direction or give MC's advice. Nothing is looking like it's really connecting, just the sub plots pressing forward while KA destroys some character relationships potentially as bait or setup.

It can work with the right execution, but KA dropped the ball a bit hard on that part. This is one of her first long running mangas in a while so mistakes happen, although right now it feels like she's doubling down on it for the finale. Her other works like Karamizakari are doing great, she's likely set for life and is doing this for the "love of the game", whatever game it is that KA is playing here.

This is definitely more Airi's fault and her shortcomings as a writer shining through at the end here. NTR, if introduced correctly and reasonably into a story is a powerful narrative tool. It can be a motivator for many characters, almost like a canon event for everyone involved, and it brings a moral debate into the discussions of that work.

Only when it's properly done IMO. If you just add NTR for the sake of it, that's not a powerful narrative tool, that's just your fetish getting the better of you.

The thing is, the direction the story has taken doesn't make sense; there's so much to develop in just one chapter and maybe 25 pages. If there's a time jump of several years, it would just prove what a terrible and stupid writer Katsura is.

I'm expecting a time skip in the epilogue, but there IS a chance of a few timeskips being used which might be considered lazy writing, but if they think they have to then we're getting it.

It seems like a cheap trick to have Shinobu sleep with and date Fumi for a while just to balance things out with Sakura. Then in the final chapter, Airi will force Sakura and Shinobu to break up with their new partners and ultimately get back together.

But that still won't solve Sakura's tendency to jump on random dicks at the slightest provocation.
