Definitely the first yuri I've read where its this obvious the author hates women. I tried to give it chance because I like toxic romances between messed up women when they're done well but this is complete trash aside from the translation.

Definitely the first yuri I've read where its this obvious the author hates women. I tried to give it chance because I like toxic romances between messed up women when they're done well but this is complete trash aside from the translation.

Nah I'm basing it on the combination of art and writing and taking a look at the mangaka's other works, which are much worse than this one and feature a whole lot of fetishistic depictions of women being physically and sexually abused by men. Sal Jiang's Shiro to Kuro has similar levels of violence as this series and has none of the stink this one has.

I was making a jokey assumption about the editor but even so, the MC is so poorly written she could be swapped for a man with a few cosmetic changes to the plot and zero change to her character. Another commenter who read this mangaka's other works even mentioned that this is basically the male MC from Hiroin wa Zetsubou shimashita with the gender swapped.

I know some manga and anime fans disagree with this but I think you can usually tell when an author hates women from critically reading a text. This author doesn't even try to hide his misogyny, most of his work is incelslop. I don't think works like this should be censored or banned but its not unreasonable to judge someone based on what they chose to spend most of their waking hours writing and drawing of their own free will.

I agree that the author had done a lot of very sus stories in the past (especially in the case of Hiroin one), but I think the rage I had came from that story is that how the FMC is handled poorly (she's supposed to be the one to snap but she kept that good girl attitude until the end) and let someone else suffers (esp in the case of Adachi) even though having only the FMC suffer is already horrendous.

I just couldn't after that development and was only glad how that story on MMC ended on how it should be dealt with... Except there were no need for a lot of unnecessary drama to get to that point.

But this story though? I actually took some courage and read the raws (4 just came out today), and, well, let's just hope author would stick to this premise -

Shishido is DOWN for this. She's willing to get all kinky with FMC (even tho she hadn't realized it yet). I hope this one has more of a romcom development instead, so in the end its just two women down for some really kinky stuff

What a bunch of horse crap… This looks like a more violent version of Katenai Ko, including the whole pretend non-con part about it…


Also next chapter already tones down the violence and ramps up the sexiness. We’ll have to see if it remains that way, but well… undoubtedly confirms that whole misogyny is in your head.
