I think all of you must read some vanilla romance to have a dopamine substitute before tje Grapara's ending.

My recomendation is "More than a married couple but not lovers" the anime is good and manga is peak.

I think my recommendation would be Houkago Kitaku Biyori, I believe it's the best I've read recently, I would say it will have an anime adaptation.

First part I agree. As for your second part, didn't Ryusei just say this in 135 (with that face doe), leading to the fawking PEN being brought out.

I'm not expecting Ryusei to play anymore roles in the finale...but there are some angles if we dig deep, none really leading into anything specific though since Ryusei is blacklisted by the industry.

It's good, as in the kind of numbers any mangaka would look at and think "Damn, I did pretty good!" But it's not "I made it!" territory. Like, there are manga getting anime adaptations right now with numbers way lower than this, but at the same time volume distribution matters a lot.

Personally, I believe the decision to end Grapara came much earlier than people think. In fact, I'd say the NTR happened because of that, and the decision could have come from KA herself wanting to move on, or something may have happened behind closed doors, but I don't think it was sales-related.

Funny enough, if you lurk around MangaPoke, especially the lower rankings, you quickly find manga with numbers so bad across basically every metric that you wonder how in the actual fuck they are still going.

It's good in the sense that any manga artist would look at the numbers and think, "Wow, that's great!" But it's not quite "a complete success!" yet. For example, there are many manga series currently being adapted into anime with much lower sales. At the same time, distribution of sales is also very important.

Personally, I believe the decision to discontinue the Grapara brand happened sooner than many people thought. In fact, I think the NTR (Netorare) scandal arose because of it, and the decision may have come from KA itself wanting to continue, or there might have been something going on behind the scenes, but I don't think it had anything to do with sales figures.

The funny thing is, if you take a peek at MangaPoke, especially the lower-ranked ones, you'll find manga with terrible numbers in every aspect, making you wonder how they even manage to survive.
