Suppose that they get back together. Even if it's forced, it's still not equal. Like, at all. Sakura was still in a relationship, Shinobu did it as a rebound, and that still was months after the breakup. You're likely right that Sakura's infidelity will be handwaved away, and Shinobu probably won't even press the issue.

As a Sakura fan the reunion could be important if it happens, but not in a sense for whether they get back together or not because that's secondary to Sakura learning about her major fuckups, and you're right that everything is hanging by a thread, but I wouldn't say ShiKura is favored even over anything else unless we're buying heavily into the "they're the MC's stock" which has been at an all-time low.

This really is another mysterious plot point. Nagi and Mio were told Sakura's PoV, and supposedly Ryusei/Chico too, but given their proximity to Shinobu since they live together, wouldn't Ryusei and Chico at some point also get Shinobu's PoV and learn the truth? I have absolutely no faith in the author to resolve this amicably for all parties. Especially after reading that article. This whole thing was contrived to make Shinobu suffer. She said as much herself.
MC's job is to suffer some times, not just win, question is will the something at the end for Shinobu or not atp.
There are two camps of thought regarding how long it's been since MC's have properly met and both have solid arguments: 1) They haven't seen other for so long it doesn't matter atp, 2) They haven't seen other for so long, it'll definitely happen in the finale!.
I'm more curious about Nagi and Mio, and as for the other two, I only see it possible that Chico wanted to know more, but surely Shinobu didn't want to "expose" Sakura and about Ryusei, I think he did the same thing he did with Sakura; he won't meddle too much.
Hmmm, actually makes sense when you frame it like that, in that Shinobu probably just kept it to himself at the sharehouse, Nagi feels like a lost cause until I see otherwise, but if Mio has a role to play in the finale things could still be good. Right now with just the four characters we see having a role to play still in the finale: Shinobu, Fumi, Sakura, fucboi, things are looking boringly grim (I guess Kazu is there too, but I his role I expect to be minnor).
Alas this is likely the case. Even if I'm still on the Shifumi train, it just nerves a lot of us how the misunderstanding was this drastic yet will possibly have no resolution.
It's because it's been so long, despite that though Sakura and Shinobu still have enough shared connections between that one could say it doesn't make sense for them to never meet before the story comes to close. The answer is clear, bring in Sakura's Mom time!
I find reasonable that Rysuei and chico don't know anything, but Nagi and Mío? They know part of the story and a month has passed, it seems very strange to me that they haven't wanted to investigate more, I think it's the biggest plot hole in the last 3 chapters.

To be fair we did have expectations when it came to Nagi but she turned out to be nothing more than a cameo to lead Sakura down her path. Potential was there since she saw first hand Shinobu's loyalty to Sakura.
If we want to boost some Nagi stocks she technically did play a decent role in splitting up fucboiXSakura if it ends up like how some people hope.
