I don't know if it serves as an example, but they can do what Sorodemo did, no? The 48.5 is strange, the publisher didn't release it and it seems to be independent of the author.

The 48.5 chapter was a independent doujinshi made by the author so she could do whatever she want and she was the artist and the author so is easier.

In Grapara's case, she would have to Nishikida's help to make that and makes things difficult to make.And likely the publisher will make a extra chapter in the next mouths.

If each volume contains 10 chapters plus a bonus, then the final volume currently has 9 chapters, so maybe there will be one more chapter, an epilogue, plus a bonus? The fact that it's being updated tomorrow and it's not the final chapter gives me a feeling that a reconciliation episode with Sakura might be coming.

It's probably the free chapter of 136 but I can hope for an epilogue yes not like I can be disappointed anymore than I already am.

IMHO, chapter 132-133 were obvious an attempt to reduce the animosity toward Sakura by reframing the situation as a one-time sexual encounter and then separating from the men similar to those with Mio and Nagi. But it failed!

Instead, Sakura came to be viewed as someone actively trying to sabotage Shinobu. LOL

My Kodansha fan friend said chapter 133 meant Grapara would be dragged to use the misunderstanding for another 20 chapters. So, it'd not end with volume 14.

However, due to results contrary to expectations from chapter 133, it was necessary to announce the end of Grapara. And the friend of mine also suprised. LOL

So, the chapter 134 twisted again to let Sakura had some kind of relationship with cucboy but it's going to be broken and show Sakura still loves Shinobu instead (to correct Sakura's sabotage Shinobu in chapter 133).

Then, in chapter 135 shew Shinobu still loves Sakura, consistent with the previous chapter, right? Also, let the blonde told cucboy to consider giving up on Sakura but there was an English translation error (from if clause to simple sentence) that lead readers to misunderstand. LOL

All just for leading to the ShiKura ending. LOL

The only thing I'm not pleased is how the author get rid of Fumi to make ShiKura in chapter 136. LOL

Fumi was too strong of a character otherwise so they relied on assassinating her character. She looked happier though compared to Sakura when they bumped into each other. It looks like she never opened up to Shinobu about her insecurities, but after the 5 year time skip she's finally found her peace and decided to tell Sakura the truth.
