Quick question. I have apparently not kept up with this manga in... 11 years? It was so sporadically updated with the old group that I got fed up with the scanlation schedule that I figured I'd get to it once it was eventually finished if at all, but now it seems to be closing in on the end.
At this point I'd have to re-read it all from the get go to remember a lot. Is it worth it? I remember it felt a bit meh in the beginning of this sequel back when, but maybe it picked up steam.

It starts slow, but I would say its worth reading if you liked the original series. Especially now that you have stuff to catch up on.

The original series is rather fine imho, I'd argue you wouldn't be missing out on much if you never start the second series. More than a sequel it feels like a reboot with ass-pull twists and rather dislikeable characters.

The whole character development from the original series didn't exist, MC is still as useless as he was in the very first half of the story... but once you start you kinda want to know how it ends, I suppose.
