I really hope that rather than finding cheap excuses to win going forward they show off its growth or struggle or something.
Taking off all your good gear and leaving only a cursed sword isnt something anyone who survives long enough to become a high level adventureer would do.

ai art and horrendously bad repetetive writing
nonononononoNONONONONOOOOOOOOOO!!! That single fuccking picture was AI? Oh no :( You know what, 0/10. Terrible!

My god, grow up. I don't like Ai either, but it's literally 1 picture. One, that you only see so often because the translation sites want to put their names somewhere. Surely we are not comlaining about non-story-relevant art. I get complaining if the monsters for example are 2d drawings of 3d monster renders (seen it multiple times now and every time it's sickening) or other bad design choices, but what you are talking about has 0 impact. It's not even the actual coverart or anything.

For your second point, yes, no? Kinda. It's not really all repetitive. Especially with us seeing the humans do their stuff in their world, but obviously astory centered around a monster going around fighting ever stronger enemies is going to be somewhat repetitive. But that's not necesarily an issue. It's kinda like a long training arc, where he slowly levels up to fulfill a certain goal, set by the author. As I said in my previous comment, which you oh so graciously striked, this is very nieche. My rating may have been a bit high, since I just read it and I enjoyed it, but it's still better than most trash out there. (At the very least this is better than 90% of "I got kicked out of the hero party".)

Started off decent enough (a bit rushed, but decent), but ran out of gas and the current chapters (18) is just not enjoyable any more. The readers came to read about the minotaur, not the humans who might somehow (emphasis here) grow up to best the minotaur.

If you got a gore/snuff fetish this one is for you! Hope you enjoy I’m gonna go somewhere else!

If you try and convince me that this is deep or worth a read or not a pipeline to the aforementioned tags then, you’re wasting your time!

"gore/snuff fetish" and it's just people fighting and dying.
I don't know how people like you function in the real world without falling into a catatonic state every 5 minutes.

Have read all of this and it really never goes anywhere past its initial chapter. If you wanted fight scenes where an almost mindless monster pulls off plot armor wins and kills adventurers this is for you?

The monsters victories/survival are caused by (apologies if slightly off, not going back and checking - reading once was enough wasted time):
  • Boss monsters are supposed to have video game attack patterns that they don't very from in any way and a boss monster can't leave a boss room and an adventurer for some reason wasn't using the pocket space inventory that all other adventurers are shown using for her healing potions so hers broke
  • Monsters don't wield equipment
  • Monsters aren't supposed to level up and now it has so we didn't realize it would be that strong
  • High level adventurer wore equipment that dropped his stats super low for challenge and because his true goal was to have a fight to the death never disengaged or pulled out other gear
  • Monster now has equipment from the high level adventurer that counters everything that fights after
  • Monster using one of the healing potions is instant limb regeneration
  • Human who defeated him is backstabbed before final blow can be used
We go back to the human world but it doesn't often amount to anything other than get sad backstory for the adventurer that then dies. The guild discusses things and has a guy who can just insta teleport around but he doesn't get involved until the very end and the guild is pretty slow to ever respond to anything.

The monster's character is I want to fight things later transforming into I want to fight strong things the latter being the explanation for why doesn't leave dungeon and instead goes to the bottom level rather than leaving. There is a tiny moment of character development where it gets angry after realizing an item was good enough that it might have become too reliant on it and too obsessed over it and abandons it, but like that's already after it won rights for having an anti-magic bracelet and a my damage is now holy and I'm immune to poison dagger (which wasn't even the weapon the guy fighting him used). We can't even say the minotaur was clever in picking and taking items from adventurers or drops that gave him exactly what he needed because for the longest time it seemed he had no idea what any of them did. At the very end we get the minotaur has finally trained and has a fighting technique he developed himself (or mostly copied) rather than just relying on I have better stats and random'd into good skills and equipment.

If you want 20 chapters of a Minotaur fighting people than enjoy. This is pretty mindless so if want anything else, you can probably find a better version elsewhere.
