The Master Smith skill can only make items specifically part of the skill system - weapons, armour, and accessories - and enchant them. Sherry is no better than any ordinary person when it comes to skill regarding making non-dungeon tools.

That aside, most of the drama outside combat is MC's fault, because he's fundamentally unwilling to tell anyone, even his own harem, anything he doesn't absolutely have to. Which is somewhat reasonable to an extent - in a relatively hostile world, keeping your cards close to your chest is a good idea - MC does it a little too excessively.

Like he's already caused Sherry stress and anxiety by refusing to tell her he can see slots, or that he figured out the requirement for her to become a Master Smith. Or put party members in danger because he changed their job (temporarily weakening them) and didn't tell them.

I think the hero is a bit overly cautious. I think it would be better if he were more open and talked more deeply about his abilities with his girls. I think the hero doesn't usually notice their facial expressions and doesn't know their feelings, or perhaps he doesn't care much about it.

Insecurity is not rational, it just eats at you when you feel insecure. She's got to be a successful Master Smith since she's been hanging with Michio, but the feeling of being not good enough is ingrained too deep to just go away. There are no therapists in this world, and Michio sucks horribly at being one.

You're right, the hero doesn't even understand her feelings, nor does he see her facial expressions. And even if he did see them, he probably wouldn't understand the reason behind them. It's unfortunate that the hero is very bad in this aspect.

It's impossible for Roxanne to hit Michio. Roxanne would rather die than see the hero suffer even the slightest injury. She's also incredibly loyal to him, and she loves and cares for him more than any other girl. Therefore, it's impossible for Roxanne to hit the hero.

Just loving all these Miria faces, you can tell the artist is having an absolute blast. I don't remember this insecure Sherry sub-arc in the novels. Also I dunno why she's so insecure she's a Master Smith slave! They're probably the rarest slaves out there. It's gonna end on a boob joke, isn't it?

edit: Okay now I see the issue, he had Sherry hand Miria the spear and she was given the club and with his comments (directed at himself not Sherry) she took that as a demotion.


It's not materials that's the problem, it's how badly designed the exp system is. First the fact that aside from Michio no one knows that there is an exp system, but second and more importantly Master Smiths have a sort of ritual for their growth because of the unknown exp system, I think Sherry said it was 6 months of creating a Misanga twice a day before they would normally move on and she's already far exceeded that.


He should die without telling anyone how to unlock Master Smith. That would cause so much social and economic damage that it would potentially shatter the world. As for changing the jobs they generally wouldn't care as they don't believe they even have levels outside Explorer.

What I really like most about this manga is Roxanne's facial expressions, and now I'm a huge fan and I absolutely love Miria's facial expressions, and I'm worried about Sherry's facial expressions.

All other slaves afterwards are like mistresses in a sense in the hierarchy ranking. Furthermore, Roxanne has insane level of combat instincts and abilities, and Sherry obviously feels very lackluster compared to Roxanne in combat. Sherry by no means is bad, but she's not a combat expert. While Miria doesn't seem to be on par with Roxanne, she's still showing great capabilities as a fighter, and it doesn't help that the MC keeps complimenting her constantly. What Sherry needs is reassurance that she's just as valuable and an asset to the MC, she's feeling jealousy, envy, and insecure. She's already had an inferiority complex and dealt with insecurity issues when she started out due to her failure as a crafter. Remember how the MC noted that Sherry seemed extra eager to please the MC in bed after Miria joined? That's more hinting that Sherry is dealing with insecurity issues, and she's trying to "secure" her position in her mind by giving it her all in bed as well.

Also, it doesn't help that she's been also also insecure about her breast size lmfao, and Miria being way bigger than her makes her feel inferior yet again.

Yeah, true, she's always been insecure. Even amongst dwarves, due to her ears making her look elderly, so it's not surprising she's generally insecure.
