Hate to be THAT person, cause I know it's meant to be cute and funny...but isn't it pretty messed up that this is how the "relationship" between Skuld and this guy begins? I don't doubt they will grow to like each other in a less shallow manner but it's pretty shitty that she literally plans to use him as an escape pod, immediately judges him on his appearance alone, and is only convinced by the fact that he is a paragon in all aspects. Add the fact that the guy is so meek that you could argue that she strongarmed him into going with her, and it's a really bad look.

From his life stats it seems like he was a pretty good person that just had some social anxiety and overbulked while working out. Google the World's Strongest Man and you'll see that once you get to a certain point of strength you start looking fat due to the muscles no longer having a strongly defined shape.

It is kinda messed up initially, but the convincing took all of 5 seconds, so I'd say she's about as shallow as most folks. First impressions are everything and your external looks are usually that first impression, so I think it's understandable (not good, but something literally everyone does) that she'd be initially turned off if she wasn't into the weightlifter body type.
Luckily, the joke of the chapter is that despite not liking him aesthetically she's apparently not shallow enough to reject a prize catch for looks alone, which is a lot more than a lot of people IRL can say.

Hope we get to see more of them.
