And in the end, Lemon was, indeed, happy...

Unfortunate that the ending was so rushed, but for such a rushed ending, I think it was pretty good. Really should have been spread over a few chapters at least, though, and an epilogue would have been nice. Really wanted to see at least a bit more of Sunao and Natsumi's relationship, especially after the body swap was resolved.
Do like how she actually showed her jealousy and how he found it cute, that was kinda sweet :glee:

She grew miles as a person and is now perfectly comfortable in her own skin without anyone else propping her up. Compare that to her in school and it's night and day. How is that not earned?
I was more referring to her final declaration of how she would be happy even if she were never to fall in love again. It was only a few chapters ago where she confessed to Sunao again only to now have seemingly come to peace with everything in very little time (especially compared to the nearly 100 chapters it took us to get to that moment). I definitely feel like that final page was always planned to be the end it just needed more breathing room so I could really buy it.

the ending was just .. meh (one of those endings of all time)
but I was expecting it would end more rushed (at ch.100), so at least we learned why it happened (dumb af, but it's a reason at least)

the flashback arc was a big switch in how many readers saw the series (sad that the comment section from that time got erased), but kudos to the author that got more than a full year more of material, and I at least can say that it was a good way to say goodbye to the series with that frame of Lemon.

would have liked more that it felt more like she was that happy, like the last part of the series didn't gave me that much certainty of her moving on fully, which was clearly hard, like maybe the way to break the wish/curse would have been her moving on from him or something on those lines, well talking about kogahara as friends while in bed could count as that at least.

SHE SAID THE THING! :meguupog:

But quite an abrupt ending. Where's the rest with Kogahara? :meguuusad:

Epilogue needed :aquadrink:

Solid ending. Ik im in the minority here but this ending was at the right level for this story. It follows the same tone of fully communicating through everything and making sure everyone was aware and prepared. Seeing koga jealous was very cute.

I think a lot of people were under the impression that the body swap was going to be something bigger, But no the swap was exactly used as attended, The Mcs learning more about each other and reaching a place of understanding and forgiveness from past events. The ending works cus its a confirmation of what was being built up this entire story. That Lemon and Sunao finally talking to each other and be open about what they failed at when they were younger. And the line of Sunao telling her that she can stress him out cus she's his friend plays into the overall narrative. "Hope you're happy lemon" can be interpreted in many ways, but it revolves around that lemon found happiness again. As she says herself, she would find it fun if she found a similar type of love again, but it fine if she doesn't cus she's at a point where she's happy with everything.

I think a lot of people want perfection or everything mustve be 100% to be satisfied, but that can be toxic cus that mean you won't allow yourselves to be happy at 70-80%. Sure, you might not have everything you want in your life, but it doesn't mean what you do have doesn't make you happy.

Overall 7.5/10 for me. This was a fun ride. Love the artstyle

Personally, I like the ending. Kogahara and Sunao pair up, Lemon lets go of her hangups and heads off into the world to find her place. And after the climax, it didn't drag things out.

I especially liked the little scenes showing Kogahara's change in behaviour when it's the three of them and when it's just Sunao with her. That was a cute little detail.

Well. That was one of the endings of all time.

I feel like the resolution might gone better if the wish had been "I wish he wouldn't be closer to any girl other than me" which I think would have made the ending made more sense:
once both of them had closure, had their sleep over, and got any lingering non-platonic feelings cleared out, as his friend from middleschool there wouldn't be any girl "closer" to him as long as they stay friends.
And I think that'd have made the manga wrap up nicely as a tale of "Mending fences with an old flame, remaining friends".

But I dunno, this manga was so great in the first half and then sort of fell over once Natsumin end game was locked in and Lemon just woke up one day and decided to give up on Sunao.

Also, Suzuka got done super dirty.

I especially liked the little scenes showing Kogahara's change in behaviour when it's the three of them and when it's just Sunao with her. That was a cute little detail.
I loved that scene, but it felt a little... too little too late? Like where the fuck was that chemistry between before those 3 pages?

This must be half of the story. Fix the body swapping, MC tries dating another girl as he struggles with his feelings for FMC and their new dynamic and the series ends with the two main characters getting together. Right? Right?
There's a been a few of these series lately where the author goes for the not-FMC win. Putting aside which camp/side you're on if the 2nd or subsequent love interest is gonna win why not just introduce them as the FMC in the first place? Worse still why put the (losing) FMC literally in the series title? Sorry but this is not a clever twist, it's sloppy writing and feels more like the author either changing just their minds part way through or caving to fan presure. Neither of which makes particualrly good story telling.

Read some dude say this is the end kf the dude with this publisher not the story in general?

Also as expected dogshit ending.
A Lemon Lose Ending was always going to be trash. Because you know this was the outlook the author would have her develop.

Lemon deserved better.

Looks like my guess was right: Sunao and Lemon needed to sleep and wake up next to each other to break the curse. Even if they didn't end up with each other, at least they were able to clear up the misunderstandings, allowing them both to grow as individuals and become good friends.

I really, really hope there will be an epilogue or bonus chapter in the tankoubon because ending it like this feels so anticlimactic. Perhaps a time skip, showing Sunao and Kogahara happily married while Lemon being satisfied with her overseas studies.

thank god, this manga wasn't that popular the ending was so dog shit, this author did wasted the opportunity that was given to him once a life time to make a great story, I'm glad that I'm reading this shit for free.

that was pretty underwhelming, but for an obviously axed ending it resolved everything pretty tightly, even the plot hole i immediately thought of was not true bc they woke up separately and didn’t fulfill the conditions ig. it’s a bit disappointing that lemon didn’t get someone too tbh bc if this went on longer i could probably see it being like a double wingman type deal

Lemon was always losing. Idk what yall are on about, while this is obviously a quite rushed ending it FAR from the worst we have seen in recent memories. Id even say it in the top 20% and makes at least sense inside the story.

Sure, wasted my time again. If you liked, cool, but really, the entire premise was for nothing, literally. Anyway... Whatever.

Right imagine paying for accessing such material in big 2026.
