Here's a quick NTR cheatsheet:
- If [FMC initially loves MC] and [FMC is a couple with MC], but [FMC leaves MC after "sleeping" (the "ne" in netorare) with Character A] and [FMC gets "taken" (the "torare" in netorare) by Character A], then NETORARE.
- If [FMC initially does not love MC] and [FMC is a couple with Character A], but [FMC leaves Character A after "sleeping" with MC] and [FMC gets "taken" by MC], then NETORI.
- If [FMC initially does not love MC] and [FMC is not a couple with MC], but [Character A already "taken" FMC] and [MC couldn't "take back" FMC], then BSS.
- If [FMC initially does not love MC] and [Character A already "taken" FMC], but [FMC leaves Character A after "sleeping" with MC] and [FMC gets "taken" by MC], then JUSTICE/RIGHTEOUS NETORI.
- If [FMC initially loves MC] and [MC is a couple with Character B], but [MC leaves Character B after "sleeping" with FMC] and [MC gets "taken" by FMC], then REVERSE NETORARE.
- If [same conditions as REVERSE NETORARE], but [FMC is POV Character], then REVERSE NETORI.
I hate to break it to ya, but she does not see the MC as a romantic partner(yet), the MC's an emotional crutch who helped with her depression/loneliness/trauma, of whom she desperately does not want to lose. This is a romantic comedy, besides, she's already in love with the MC, so her sleeping with other men doesn't make sense.
