I know he barely counts but doesn't our sword boy know how to cook? Though any other mage doesn't. I also suppose Emiya didn't grow up like a proper mage...and he's not that good of one thanks to his dad...nevermind, you right.

Shirou isn't a mage. Being able to use Magecraft and Being a Mage are not the same thing Hell, Ritsuka Is more of a mage than Shirou was. Though I'm sure Nasu has an AU in his back pocket somewhere where Kiritsugu properly initiated Shirou and taught him to be the next Magekiller. Like the boys version of Prisma, with less Prisma Problematics.

Prisma's version of Shirou has... a lot fewer issues than the mainline one, in that he's officially Illya's older brother (she's an actual human in that line, not a homonculi, among other things.)
As for what Prisma is... All I will say is that it's essentially an alternate universe about two hairs away from being pruned into a Lostbelt, wherein the main deviation from PHH is

and that's all you should really seek to know about it. It is also HIGHLY PROBLEMATIC, largely because of Chloe and Chloe-adjacent things.
